Location: Rishikesh Beach Camps are near about 290 kms from Delhi, 17 kms from Rishikesh on Haridwar-Badrinath Highway

Road Route: Delhi - Ghaziabad - Modinagar - Meerut (Bypass) - Khatauli - Muzaffarnagar (Bypass) - Roorkee - Haridwar - Rishikesh - Shivpuri

River Rafting Trips

An easy rafting tripcovers about 10-kms of river running. First drive to Brahmpuri, and then take a boat to ride the currents of the water of the Ganges. Raft down through the heart of Laxman Jhula, and Geet Bhawan to Muni-Ki-Reti and witness the numerous ashrams, yoga and meditation institutes and bathing Ghats with pilgrims taking a holy dip in the Ganges river water. Rafting certainly presents a better way to witness Rishikesh - the town of temples, ashrams and the Ghats.

River Rafting In Shivpuri

Situated near Rishikesh is another ideal river rafting site of Shivpuri, where there camping facilities are present along the Ganges River. The camps are well equipped with two single beds with mattresses, complete bedding, towels, etc. From the camp base one can opt for half-day rafting trip, for which no previous rafting experience is necessary.

Beside the camping facilities, tourists are also provided with Expert guides and top quality equipment and rafting gear. Shivpuri presents an ideal way to explore the flora and fauna of the Himalayan region on foot too, taking a hiking tour to the nearby small villages. As the area is close to Rajaji National Park, one can see a good variety of resident and migratory birds.

Rafting Itinerary

Option A. Overnight camp & Half Day Rafting from Brahmpuri to Rishikesh 11 Kms

Day 01.Afternoon Arrive Rishkesh.
Transfer to Ganga Nature Camp . After Welcome drink free time to explore the area. Proceed for a jungle trek to the water fall or rappelling . Evening tea. After dark campfire, BBQ and dinner . Overnight camp.

Day02. Morning Tea. Beach Volley ball.
After breakfast proceed for rafting from Camp down to Rishikesh. Today we hit some of the enjoyable rapids on the river i.e. Initiation, Double Trouble, Hilton & Terminator. One can try body surfing and cliff jump on this section . In the later part we float past temples and ashrams and Ghats, enjoying the river bank life along the Ganga. Arrive Rishikesh & Tour terminates.
Tent is provided for Change at the finishing point.

One can drive to Delhi/onward destination after the trip.

Option B. Overnight camp & Full Day Rafting from Shivpuri to Rishikesh 17 Kms

Day 01.Afternoon Arrive Rishkesh.
Transfer to Ganga Nature Camp . After Welcome drink free time to explore the area. Proceed for a jungle trek to the water fall or rappelling. Evening tea. After dark campfire, BBQ and dinner . Overnight camp.
 

Day02. Morning Tea. Beach Volley ball.
After breakfast drive to Shivpuri to start rafting from Shivpuri to Rishkesh. Today we hit some of the most exciting rapids on the Ganga i.e. Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Golf Course & Club house. We also hit Initiation, Double Trouble, Hilton & Terminator. One can try body surfing and cliff jump on this section. In the later part we float past temples and ashrams and Ghats enjoying the river bank life along the Ganga. Arrive Rishikesh & Tour terminates.

Tent is provided for Change at the finishing point.
One can drive to Delhi or board train after the rafting.

Option C. Overnight camp & Long Full Day Rafting from Marine Drive to Rishikesh 27 Kms

Day 01.Afternoon Arrive Rishkesh.
Transfer to Ganga Nature Camp . After Welcome drink free time to explore the area.. Proceed for a jungle trek to the water fall or rappelling . Evening tea. After dark campfire, BBQ and dinner . Overnight camp.

Day 02. Morning Tea.
After breakfast drive to Marine drive . Today we raft down from Marine drive to Shivpuri. We hit Black money, Cross fire, Three Blind mice and good morning , Roller Coaster, Golf Course and Club House rapids. We also hit Initiation, Double Trouble, Hilton & Terminator. One can try cliff Jump and body Surfing on this section. In the later part we float past temples and ashrams and Ghats enjoying the river bank life along the Ganga. Arrive Rishikesh. Tour terminates.

One can drive to Delhi or board train for Delhi after the rafting.
